I haven’t used it so far, but it seems like it will do the job. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for easy to hold as the length is a little short for the weight of the head. It just seems a little out of balance, but I don’t see that being a major problem. My other reason for not giving it a 5 rating is the finish. I thought it was solid metal but when I ran my fingers over the handle there was a sharp spot where the metal shaft met the plastic handle. It almost seemed like it was plating rather than solid metal. Hopefully this isn’t something that will peel off later.

It is small so stores easily. Surprised that even though it was small it did very good job of tenderizing pork loin that was partially frozen.
