Cheap and defective! Actually even possibly a health hazard. I cleaned the dispenser and added my olive oil. That’s when I noticed a large black something floating in the oil…took another look and saw some other smaller black pieces. I fished the largest piece horrified to think it was a bug but it wasn’t quite right. I looked inside the dispenser lid and that’s when I saw the rough edges inside and when I ran my finger inside the inner rim more black plastic shavings came loose. Terrible! What a waste! I can send the dispenser back but I am out expensive EVOO because there is no way I can use it.

Suction on the unit I received is limited. I need to press very hard on the buttons to get the oil to dispense, and it is very slow. I had one previously that was a smaller container and worked better, but broke it. This is good enough to use but it’s not as easy to use as my previous one.

I like this dispenser because the bottle is made of glass, not plastic, and that is important to me. The lid is a squeeze measuring cup. I measure the amount of oil into the lid by gently squeezing the side buttons until oil fills to the desired amount. Measurements are in ounces and milliliters. This dispenser helps me carefully control the amount of oil I use with no overflows, spillage or dripping. The dispenser is easy to disassemble for cleaning, but requires some care: the lid has a silicone gasket so that it tightly seals the bottle. The first time I cleaned the dispenser this inconspicuous but absolutely essential component fell out into my sink, and I almost did not notice. Be sure to keep track of this gasket and replace it when re-assembling the dispenser.
