I got this because I just bought a barrel smoker. I have been using a mop with good results but wanted a spritzer just to keep the humidity up. This one was food grade, though a little misleading in that it is not a stainless steel vessel. It appears to be a polycarbonate bottle inside a stainless steel sleeve. It works thought a bit harder to clean effectively. It would help in the mouth of the bottle were about 2.5 times bigger and it was stainless as advertised. The injection system looks like an afterthought and I doubt I will use it. If it worked at all it would be a bear to clean.

I just received this in time to spray some ribs on the smoker. I couldn’t wait to unpack and use it. After a quick wash, I loaded it with some water and apple cider vinegar and wet my ribs accordingly. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the spray gun. I have yet been able to use the included injector, but I hope to someday soon. Now, I just hope it holds up for the distance. I smoke a lot so this thing will get some good use. This spray gun was more $$ than I cared to spend, but then again so is the meat that I smoke. I’d much rather not have dried smoked meats so I bit the bullet and paid this amount. I hope I don’t regret this decision. Stay tuned

I love this product thus far and makes misting and injecting on my pellet grill easy!

Read and heed the instructions! Since I grind the rub added to pork injection plus I strain it 3 times, didnβt think it would hurt to use this injector.Wrong, it clogged up! It worked great for brisket!

I bought this mostly to use the injector portion. I injected a turkey with apple juice, and that was a solid enough experience. My second turkey was using a Cajun butter. After reading to not use seasonings in the bottle, I begrudgingly strained out my seasonings. The injector could not pass the butter through the tubes, so I accepted the fact that this would be for thin liquids and spraying. I later found that it failed to pass an apple juice and ACV mixture through the spray nozzle. For something that was going to solve two issues, it could do neither. Would not recommend for anyone that would use this more than a couple times a year.

This is a nice looking spray bottle that I bought to use while smoking meats. The first thing that I noticed was that the spray gun didn’t quite screw in to the bottle very well. I noticed that the threads for the screw mechanism were warped. This caused it to leak slightly, but the spray gun still worked. After a few uses, the bottle within the outer casing came loose from the glue, and the inner bottle would rotate within the casing when trying to screw on the spray gun. The spray action itself was ok. Admittedly I was underwhelmed with it. I would recommend saving the money on this expensive bottle and go to the grocery store and buy a $2 generic spray bottle which likely is better quality.

Ordered it for the smoker, went to use it tonight for the first time and it wouldnβt spray. Not clogged, never been used, just wouldnβt spray. Naturally itβs way past the return date so buyer beware.
