I have had many different mandolines and slicers but this is by far the best one I’ve had, simply because it’s super safe to use and there’s no risk of cutting yourself in the process of slicing the vegetables. No more wearing awkward cut-resistant gloves that get all stained, while still risking cuts if you’re clumsy enough.I love all the features it has, from adjusting the thickness to cutting food in different shapes and sizes. It is not bulky and folds to store, and it replaced 2 different ones I had. I’ve tried cutting so many different things and it works great in most scenarios although it is best for sturdier veggies like onions and peppers and not so much stuff like green onions, although it cuts those too.I will say though that even using the utensil to push the veggies a few pieces tend to fall out of reach of the slicer, so you have to make sure you get them out of there. Cleaning the utensil is not too difficult other than having to get those little pieces out.

It’s a decent tool and it gets the job done. I do have a couple of complaints which is why I couldn’t give it five stars. The first being that with harder vegetables like potatoes the blade gets kind of caught one whatever your cutting when the spring is pushing it back into the up position. So you have to pull it a little bit. The other complaint is that it’s not very easy to clean because there are a lot of crevices that you can’t get to easily. They do provide a brush, but it’s just not adequate. And the final complaint is when the blade is returning to the up position it can kind of fling whatever your slicing off onto the counter and makes a mess. They’re pretty minor gripes, and it does what it’s supposed to but it could have been better.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but this snaps open easily and stays in place. The blade is recessed and also has a cover when you storing it, so fewer accidents. The “dials” on the back are what determine the cut and they couldn’t be easier to use.The catch bowl is really small, so have another bowl nearby to put your sliced items, but it fits under the slicer quite securely. If you are pushing vigorously on the slicer/plunger, sometimes pieces fly past the catch bowl, and when cleaning you have to use the included brush to get any small bits out of the gadget, but I think it’s great!

This is one of the best designs in a chopper and slicer, and it folds away completely. The long handle is stored pushed in all the way. The slicer has 2 blades that come out of the back for french fries. It’s super sharp. I love the suction cup feet. I do wish the bin for catching slices food is bigger. The safety protector for storage is a nice thought.TIP: get this with an air fryer. Makes cutting french fries and potato chips a breeze.TIP: cut sweet potato fries. Then sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice and sugar for a sweet treat.

Iβm satisfied with this. It definitely is meant for hard vegetables. It has taken a few uses to figure out what itβs best for. Thick setting for potatoe fries and thinner for dicing onions. I like how it shreds carrots (salads) and slices them for soups. It is a great tool for my kitchen and I wish Iβd had this a while ago.

I saw this on some show and could not stop thinking about it. I absolutely love it. I used it to cut up a big set of onions for a recipe and it was perfect. One thing I will say is that itβs a little messy. The juices from what your cutting tend to go all over the counter. But itβs worth not having to hand cut everything. I cant wait to use it the next time I want to make salad.

I use this regularly to chop brussels sprouts. It is very quick and easy to use. The bad part is that it takes approximately as much time to clean as it does to chop. But that says as much about easy use as it says about difficult cleaning. I have owned a number of kitchen choppers in the past. This is the first time I have used one for more than a month–and it has been over a year. Recommend.
