Mr. Adam –
These are made of pretty thin, stamped steel. I honestly feel like I could cut myself if I pushed carelessly along one of the edges. It’s fine for the occasional use, like me, who will use it a few times a year. But, if you plan on using this a lot, I wouldn’t recommend it. It does the job just fine, I was using it for cookie scooping. There is a spot at the base of the scoop that you will not be able to clean. So don’t get any food in there. it’s just like a hollow tube leading up to the scoop. So overall, it’s fine for the price. But if you are looking for something more professional and sturdy, keep looking. I give it four stars because it suits my purposes and I can compromise its shortcomings for what I need it to do.

I’m really happy with these, I’ve used them for a bunch of different batches of cookies and muffins and have never had any issues with them. I usually wash them by hand, but they’ve gone through the washer a few times and are perfectly fine. The small and medium are great for cookies, the medium and large are great for muffins. I love that my baked goods come out all uniform in size now, they look a lot nicer, especially when you’re making something for someone else as a gift. It really cuts down on time too. I’m going to try using them for matzo balls too! Also just wanted to add that I have carpal tunnel but I didn’t have difficulties with these scoops. I definitely appreciate the ease of use.

The smallest scoop broke on the second cookie scooping. The other two scoops are fine. Maybe just a fluke.
Very Interesting –
These scoops are perfect for baking cookies. I used the recipe on the back of a nestle chocolate chip package and it said makes 5 dozen cookies, I used the smallest scoop and it made 5 dozen cookies perfectly portioned! That has never happened in recipes when I just use a teaspoon. The release scoop thing is perfect. Absolute must have for this upcoming holiday cookie season. It also sits on the counter without the scooper touching the counter, there’s little extra metal on the handle to prop it up off the counter. I’m not sure what I would use the largest scoop for except maybe ice cream? But the smallest scoop made chocolate chip cookies with a diameter of 2 inches (from side to side). I would guess the medium scoop would make about a 3 inch cookie then maybe 3.5. I made 5 dozen cookies using it and my hand didn’t cramp and the dough plopped out from the scooper device perfect every time. 10/10 would suggest to any baker who even makes cookies once a year.

These are ok, but they’re a bit flimsy, and the edges on the handles are sharp…they still work but be careful

Overall works fine. You get what you pay for. I don’t plan on putting these scoop’s through heavy use so they are fine for me.

I ordered these scoops after yet another batch of cookies that came out different sizes and didn’t bake evenly. I have used them several times and they do exactly what I needed them to do.

I enjoyed using the cookie scoops for baking. Made it that much easier to ensure all my cookie dough pieces were uniform in size. And was a huge time saver.
