My sister has issues with one of her hands due to a medical issue, so it’s been tough to get used to it, and I’m not getting any younger. It’s been increasingly tough to open bottles and jars and we don’t want to keep hurting our hands or getting frustrated with these tasks so these 2 appliances work right fine for all the sizes we’ve encountered.Very happy with the purchase, please consider it for your aging friends/family and even for yourself so you don’t have to fight with that jar of marinara 🙂

Jar opener is hard to grip with arthritic hands. The bottle opener is great. It was hard to rate cuz one is great, the other not even.Jar opener needs a firm grip to be useful. If you have arthritis in your hand and/or fingers, there is no way to hold a strong grip. The bottle opener is easy to use. Place on a twist cap bottle, turn, opened! There is a hook on this end that will break the seal of a jar. Easy to use and works. Way easier than the jar opener piece. Opposite end is to open pop cans. It slides under the tab perfectly every time.Buy the bottle opener alone. Don’t waste money on the jar opener.

The purchase price was great on this but it does not work for me as someone that has rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. I can’t grip it well enough and turn the jar to make it work without spilling it all over me. Also it’s not really designed to do all jar lids unless I’m doing something totally wrong I’ve tried it both ways. If someone asked me if I would buy it again I would have to say no I’m sorry I feel like there was not enough consideration taken for everyone that was possibly be using it. Looks good it just needs to be reworked
