I purchased this because my husband came home with a trunk full of corn. I did about 20 corn in about 4 minutes. It has a quick learning curve I had the hang of it by the 3rd ear! So much easier than using a knife & keeps you from getting too close to the cob & getting the little hard pieces of cob. The corn was also very symmetrical. Liked it so much ordered a 2nd for my daughter.

This was the best corn peeler of 3 we tried this year. It’s worth getting a new on each season as it will dull if you’re putting up a lot of corn. Have a few on hand you won’t regret it.

I still like using my knife it is faster, but this worked very well for sitting at the table and some family members don’t like eating corn on the cob. It is easy enough for even children to use.

I was skeptical, but it glides easily getting clean kernels.. I use the backing to scrap the cobs after I decob (not sure if that whats its for, but it came in handy – saved my hands this Thanksgiving holiday!
