My son bought one of these and let me try it. It’s so much better than my old-style zester. My old one cut long skinny strips of peel (usually lemon or lime in my case), but they were a little thick. When mixed into recipes, they tended to clump together on the blades of the mixer or suspend in the batter in chewy strings. This zester creates a very find zest that blends nicely into batters of all kinds. Plus, I can put it in the dishwasher. Bonus!

We just started doing Hello fresh, and it seems like they enjoy zesting lemons and limes a lot. We never had a need for a zester before and after nearly skinning my hand on the cheese grater, we decided to buy a purpose built tool. This thing has saved some time and most definitely some skin when preparing our dinners. Highly recommend if you enjoy keeping your skin on your body and not on your cutting board.
