I have small hands and as Iβm getting older they are getting weaker. I was tired of waiting for someone else to be around to open things for me. The opener has allowed me to open water bottles, juice bottles, pickles, sauce, you name it I have opened it with this opener. Most openers have a wide grip which my small hands canβt reach and hold properly. The handle is a great size and doesnβt hurt my hands. Wish I knew about this sooner. Buy it, you will be happy you did!

Works for my jars; Iβm a senior with weakness.

This gadget is easy to use. Do what it is suppose to do i.e. opening any size jar without having me to use so much strength. A must have in any kitchen.

My old Oxo jar opener finally came apart after years of use so I searched for one like it. This was as close as I could find, but it is even better than the old one! It is more secure with a short Lucien mat to sit the jar in and the apparatus even shows me clearly which way to twist! It hasnβt failed me yet!! I am thinking of getting some as gifts!

I bought this thing in 2014 and it still works like a charm on everything. I use it most often on small water bottle, soda bottles, etc (for whatever reason the ridged plastic sides of the cap shred my skin when I try to open them with my bare hands). So now I grab this every time and it opens everything with zero effort. I wonder if those who gave this star 1 star got a faulty one (or arenβt using it right) because I cannot imagine not being satisfied with this gadget. It works perfectly. I couldnβt survive in my kitchen without it.

In one simple move, it cleverly and swiftly does the job. I was initially very skeptical.

Helps me have a better grip on the jar lids

Easy to master. Easy to use. The most stubborn lids will yield to its mighty grip. Slide the angle into place, turn, and Voila! Ratatouille!
