This can opener is so easy to grip and the large handle that you turn makes opening cans so easy. I am a Senior Citizen and cannot grip like a younger person but this was made for those of us that have trouble gripping.

Superior to the Swing-Away openers I’ve always sworn by. My older, stiffer fingers feel stronger when I use the large, comfortable turning handle. And this OXO slices through a metal lid like butter.

I just had to replace mine after 3 years. I probably use it 3x a month max. This one was easier on the hands, although I am replacing it with a rechargeable. It seems like it should have lasted a lot longer – my mom had hers from the 60’s for decades.I am not sure if I would recommend this one, it was good while it lasted.
