Love the straws, the case is unbelievably difficult to slide open! Iβve had these for a few months now and I still donβt fully close the case because I canβt get it open myself, meaning that purse debris finds its way into the straws from time to time.

As a straw it works very well; it doesn’t require much effort to get liquid from one end to the other end.Do note that “4 piece” refers to the straws, the pipe cleaner, and the nifty box they come in; there are only 2 straws in this package. Also, I’ve found it a bit hard to get the soapy taste out of them after washing, with the only method being a soak in a vinegar bath. If you know handy tricks for washing straws, this may not be an issue for you.

The silicone tip is perfect because I hate the feel of metal straws in my mouth but silicone straws are too flimsy to push through lids. This combines the best of both.The silicone tip can be entirely removed so you can clean every surface when you want.The case is nice for the straw I leave in my car because otherwise silicone attracts lint.

Doing my part to stop using plastic straws. I am happy with this OXO set. You can use the straws with or without the silicon tip – I prefer using it since I don’t like the feeling of sipping from a metal straw. The BEST part is the large and sturdy cleaning wire brush that’s included which makes the straw and silicon attachment easy to keep clean. I’ve found OXO products to be well-made and thoughtful in their design.

The straws seemed fine but were just too big for our toddler. We returned them and purchased Klean Kanteen short straws instead.

Well-designed and well-built. I suspect this set will last me for years. Bought these for Disneyland, as their paper straws are worthless after just a few minutes. I trust OXO.
