I had used a an all-metal peeler for years, so when it started to get dull, I shopped for another one. I’m SO glad I settled on this one!!! It feels good in my hand, and it DEFINITELY does a fantastic job of peeling vegetables. There is virtually no waste on potatoes, if your choice is peeled potatoes–paper thin!!! I heartily recommend this peeler to whomever needs to upgrade!!!

I bought this because I was desperate and needed one quickly. Didnβt really want a swivel peeler mainly because Iβve never used one before. I have to say, I really love it. Since Iβve never used one I started out on sweet potatoes and just skimmed the surface. It was amazing. Peeled them like glass. Donβt use any pressure, just lightly skim the surface. Thatβs the secret. Also peeled some apples going around the apple and it worked great. You donβt need pressure. The more pressure, the less effective it is. It’s nice and sharp and has a little plastic cover which is a nice addition. I definitely recommend it.

Fits my hand for easy peeling and the blade is super sharp. It even cut cold butter and cheese and I loved using it to evenly and cleanly peel my cucumber. A perfect addition to my kitchen tools.

I’ve never held a peeler that was sharper or more comfortable than this. The design is outstandingly ergonomic. It peels carrots, potatoes, apples, and even honeydew melons with ease. I’ve tried countless peelers from Walmart but none have even come close to Oxo’s swivel peeler.

The best of Iβve ever used. But be careful itβs the sharpest one Iβve had also. I cut my finger the first time using it to peel a potato, even peeling it away from me. I never have anything sharp come toward my body lol so I hold it with my left hand, then my right hand peels from the middle to the end. Still be careful to, itβs sharp and still being careful can cut! But itβs still the best one Iβve had. I had the older oxo one and lasted for many years!

Works fairly well for a peeler. You have to make sure you have the angle right, but thatβs true for any peeler. Easy to clean with a nicer handle that makes it easy to hold.

The blade on our old peeler must have been getting dull, since it’s been increasingly difficult to do basic peeling chores. This OXO Good Grips peeler glides effortlessly over the tops of fruits and vegetables while miraculously removing the skins. Thank you, OXO!

I got my first oxo peeler at a box store and am still using it! I wanted an extra for years down the road, just in case I canβt find it later!! Will be using forever!!
