Update: Customer service department was contacted via email and handled the problem very well. Had asked for a cab replacement but since they did not have it just by itself I got the whole shaker replaced. before that, I managed to clean the rust out, but there is pitting in the metal at the bottom of it. Then it just rusts again after few weeks. Scrubbed it out and waited many days. Unfortunately, this caused the 30 day period for a return on Amazon to pass.Had contacted OXO customer support via email. Gave evidence of picture, order number, and shipping address, asking for a new cap. They did respond under three business days. Satisfied with this company. Will continue to buy.

I’m a bartender on the side and have been using those restaurant store shakers – they are cheap but they freeze shut, and explode easily with just juices. I used this brand at a private party I worked and loved it so much I bought it that night. Perfect product

Built in strainer, lid can measure portions, easy to open and close, no leaks.I mainly bought this because of the design. Easy to open and clean. Big improvement and aesthetically is nice.

This is a good cocktail shaker as far as I can tell. It doesn’t leak. The lid does not get stuck. It’s easy to wash.The thin metal walls do get ice cold as you shake it with ice, though, and it can be uncomfortable. I’m not sure if I wish I had gotten one of the double walled ones instead. A double walled shaker would be more pleasant to shake and be easier to shake for longer, but the ease of cleaning of this shaker is a really strong plus. This is probably about as good as a single walled shaker can get for casual use.Well worth considering.
