We were very happy before buying this. Life was good. Food was delicious. But now our lives have been destroyed. It appears to be all about this spoon rest. Now we are looking to get rid of the cat, or buy a house with a door on the kitchen (so much for open concept).One day our cat was on the counter. Looking for mice, I assume, but the cat walked over to this item and looked at it for a long period of time. Next thing I know, the cat starts licking everything in the kitchen. I assume cats don’t understand what the word “spoon” means, so he didn’t discriminate.Soon he started narrowing down what he licked as he homed in on what he thought “spoon” might actually mean. Yogurt. He must think that “spoon” must mean yogurt. Maybe it’s the sound of peeling back of the lid that calls him. Whatever it is, he must think it is how you pronounce “spoon.” Oh wait, there he goes! Ice cream? I guess it looks like yogurt, eh? Maybe that rules out the sound.Holy cow. I’m just coming to the realization that he thinks “spoon” means white food. Mozzarella cheese, yogurt, ice cream, milk, cream cheese. He licks them all. Or maybe it’s dairy products. I think it’s dairy. Whatever it is, this product has destroyed our lives. It’s dairy. It’s gotta be dairy. I did not intend the pun at the beginning of this paragraph, BTW, but I wish I did because it might be considered funny.Maybe we learn to eat our dairy anyways. It’s a hard step for us… He grooms himself constantly, and I think his rear end is unusually clean.Or does anyone want a cat? He’s very sweet. He’s well groomed. Do you have a door leading to your kitchen?
