This is a “Good” little salad spinner. Some reviewers have said this is “Micro Sized.” That is not entirely true. It is big enough for two nice size dinner salads. If you want more, you just have to spin more. I’ve had other salad spinners in the past. None of them have lasted more than a few months, because I used them frequently and they’ll get to the point that the spinner goes around and the basket doesn’t. CRAP!!! So, here’s what’s good & bad about this little guy.The GOOD Points:!. It has a handle on it, that makes it convenient and a lot easier to handle and control. Less chance of dropping it.2. It does a good job of spinning the water out quickly and has two pour spouts to pour the water off.3. It locks, so the top doesn’t fall off, while pouring the water off.4. It spins freely, not stiff like some. The BAD Points:1. The underside of the top has a non-tightening screw and it’s just a matter of time, before that loosens, making it inoperable.2. The underside of the top has an open area where bacteria can be trapped.3. There is another screw in the underside of the top that might pose a problem. Not sure how long this unit will last. It was a good idea, but not sure if the execution of this product was done as well as it could have been. The thing that concerns me the most, is that water gets up into the area under the top of the unit. This can allow mold to grow. What I am doing is to wash the salad spinner and then putting a small amount of white vinegar into the sink and soaking the top of the unit for about 15 minutes. Then I let it air dry. It’s just a way of being extracareful. Probably overkill, but I like to be safe.I do recommend this little salad spinner, because I like it and it seems to work really well. If I was designing it, I would have done a couple of things a little different, but I think we all think that about some things. Given the salad spinners I’ve used in the past and the low price on this one, it’s a pretty good buy. Thank you for reading my review.Thank you for reading my review.

I bought this salad spinner back in 2013 and while I don’t use it very often, I’ve used it plenty over the last 8 years and it’s still going strong. I bought it back when my husband and I moved in together and I just needed something for the two of us. Now that we have a 7 year old, I tend to use our larger one more, but this still comes in handy when washing and cleaning parsley and cilantro or when I making a side salad. It’s certainly on the smaller side, but I love the functionality of it and that I control how fast I can spin it as opposed to the ones where you push down on the top to spin it and it can only spin so fast. I’m actually buying one for a friend who liked ours which is what made me think to even write a review. Highly recommended if you need or want a smaller sized salad spinner.

This was my second choice of replacement for a very old small salad spinner. I was looking for something small, for 1 or 2 salads, and of good quality. They are not easy to find! Most salad spinners are HUGE, and almost all are plastic. My first choice, Option 1, was a stainless steel spinner, which I have always wanted. It was a little bigger than what I need, but I wanted something nicer than plastic. (Salad snob.) I sent for it. It arrived. Of the parts, only the bowl was not plastic, and the plastic spinner part was warped, making it wobble along slowly. Back it went. I sent for Option 2: This cute spinner. Strangely, it was $4 less than it was last week. It arrived. Just right! Much better quality than my old one, and much better quality than the plastic parts of Option 1. The size is perfect. It spins PERFECTLY: No wobbling. Lettuce and spinach emerge perfectly dry. It’s easy to clean. Bonus: The handle! This is great! You grab the handle with one hand and turn the knob with the other. Spouts are located on each side. This works very well for left- and right-handed spinners (as in, people spinning greens); I tried it both ways! Salad spinner designers take note: Every salad spinner should have A HANDLE.

I cannot believe that I have gone without a salad spinner. This salad spinner is affordable and also dubs as a strainer. The spinner actually gets most of the water! I pat dry just to absorb the little water that is left.

Love this salad spinner! Perfect size for me and my husband. Really like the handle on it — most do not have this feature, but should. Well made, easy to use.The only issue I had was getting it delivered. It came from the next city over and it took 4 days to get here, that was poor planning on someone’s part. Like I said though, great product. Highly recommend.

I really liked the handle, and the way it was easy to drain, water inside, , but it’s pretty small. Well made, though, not flimsy plastic.. sturdy enough.

This salad spinner is handy to use. My disappointment was with the lettuce not getting as dry as I would prefer. I had to use a paper towel to get excess water off. Otherwise it was nice.

Spins my salad completely dry.
