I was really impressed with this product as it worked for an at-home fondue date night. I pre-melted cheese and added it to one to keep it warm and pre-melted chocolate for the other. The temp doesn’t get hot enough to melt directly in the ceramic dishes but it does keep it perfectly warm and melted once you put it in them. Overall, they are not big in size. BUT they were the perfect size for a 2-person fondue night. Beyond that and you would probably find yourself frequently refilling them all night long.

We had to send the first pair back. Poorly made. Base not attached well and the tea lights wobbled on the lumpy bottom. The second pair are just fine. Easy to return.

Progressive always has great kitchen products and these are very nice. However one of the spindels on the base arrived broken (unattached) and the whole base is warped, including where the tea light goes. Since it will contain hot butter it’s important that it is stable. I can see where the one base leg should be attached. Just don’t know if glue is going to hold it but I will try. Box was not damaged at all.

I bought these to keep butter warm when eating crab legs but the it could not because the height of the stand away from the bottom of the cup. So now they are just sitting in a drawer. Maybe I can use them for something else.

Had a set of these and wanted to have another on hand if I had company over. You use tea candle for heat source which insures your sauce to stay warm.
