I had a similar ricer that had interchangeable plates. Without going into too much detail, it was terrible and was frustrating to use. This is very similar. but the plate that the holes is in is part of the container. The one piece design is far superior to the interchangeable one. I was able to rice 15 pounds of potatoes in about 10 minutes. The other ricer took at least 30 minutes to do the same amount of potatoes. If you don’t need different sized holes, then get this. So much better!

was glad it was packaged in a box to protect it during shipping. Used it right away. I have never used one of these so I was curious. I bought it to make 10 lbs. of mashed potato’s, but wanted to try it out before that.Microwaved a potato (baked potato setting) Skin on. Right out of the microwave cut potato in half and placed the whole thing into the ricer. Slick as a whistle. Skin was left in the ricer and peeled right off the plunger. Seemed easy enough. I placed it across a bowl for the next few I have tried. I don’t want to put a lot of force on the bowl and the tab that supports it so I tend to pick up to squeeze it more than press it while it is on the bowl. I will probably put someone else in charge of ricing 10 lbs. of potato’s as I can imagine I will get tired after a few. I will peel the potato’s for the mashed potato’s so that may make a difference in how much force it will take. Product works as expected. when I’m done I hose it off and place open in the top rack of the dish washer. Came out looking good!! Happy Thanksgiving ya’ all!

I am so happy with this potato ricer. I used for the first time on Thanksgiving and everyone said how creamy and good the mashed potatoes were. It is a little bit of a pain to clean. But not really that bad. I let the potatoes dry on it before I cleaned.

Itβs as sturdy as one could reasonably expect at the price point. Used it to make mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving and they came out so much better than they ever have before, so I highly recommend a ricer. This is the first one I ever bought and it was a good choice. If it doesnβt hold up Iβll buy a more expensive one, but this may end up to be more durable than it feels.

I watch a lot of YouTube cooking channels. A lot of the content creators swear by Potato Ricers when making mash potatoes. I decided to give it a try and purchased this one. It has done a great job so far. My mashed potatoes have come out silky smooth. I used to have a bunch of lumps with a mixer or traditional masher. This device is a lot lighter than breaking out the stand mixer. It is easy to clean and store as well.

Wow! How come no one ever told me about this tool! I used it on Thanksgiving for my sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes, and I’ll never look back. Very sturdy, super easy to clean, well made. Plus, you can use it for so many other things. Love it!

I bought this ricer because I was in charge of making mashed potatoes for a potluck dinner group of 50 people and didn’t want to fail. It is very sturdy and easy to use. It pushes the potatoes out looking like white rice. I then whipped the “riced” potato with a little milk and butter to come up with the creamiest, lump free potatos ever. They were so creamy that a few people even asked how I made them. Very nice!

I had a mill to use for mashed potatoes but it was big, hard to use and hard to clean! This you have to scoop about 6-7 scoops of potatoes to rice for an entire batch but it is still SO much faster and way easier to use and to clean! I used my old mill 3x in 10 years! I will now make awesome mashed potatoes all the time!
