I see many reviews about these glasses being too small or not fitting. I hadnβt seen any of those reviews when I ordered mine. When I first took them out of the box I was sure that they wouldnβt fit at all. Iβm a black woman, with a wide face. I decided to try them anyway and I am more than happy- Iβm ecstatic!. They fit snuggly but not tight. I can push them back so that the foam seals closely around all sides of the glasses. I can also pull them out a little bit if I donβt need a tight seal. There are several things I like about these glasses. The lenses are curved and extraordinarily clear. Object resolution is improved in that everything appears crisp and clear. They have no magnification but I can see things much clearer, as if I were wearing my readers. When my sister got hers, I asked if they fit since her face is bigger than mine. She said that not only do they fit but everything was sharp and in focus- better than with her glasses. Good, so it wasnβt my imagination. I bought tortoise shell. I like the way they look although people canβt see your eyes very well. The lenses have stayed very clean and Iβve only wiped them with a damp cloth if I see a speck on them. Iβve just picked hair or lint off the foam because there hasnβt been much of it. There are many uses for these glasses. I first used them for a completely unexpected purpose. I was mowing the lawn and gnats were really bad. I kept waving them away from my face but I knew one would get in my eyes. I put on the glasses and voila, no more worries. The gnats often landed on the lenses, but I could see fine and continue mowing. I now wear them when preparing onions (no tears!), grilling outdoors (no smoke in the eyes), gardening (keeps dirt & water etc from flying into my eyes). I urge anyone who buys them to put them before decided that they wonβt fit. I almost returned mine without trying them on, now Iβve ordered another pair. I keep one in the car.

These were the original brand I had bought from another Retailer many years ago. I loved those but eventually they foam broke down and they no longer carried it at the store. I found these hoping they would be just as good. I don’t think the foam is as thick as it used to be as there is still some gapping on the face, so the onion fumes did get in a little bit. HOWEVER still considerably less discomfort than not using them at all. and less gapping than the ones i previously purchased on amazon.

These goggles have changed my life. I was never able to cut onions without my body relieving itself of any and all tears. I would not be able to wear mascara if I knew cutting onions was in my future for that day. Now I can wear mascara again. I can cut onions again. I can ride a bike again. I can laugh with friends and forget all my worries. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because people do make fun of me quite a bit while wearing these. Itβs made it a bit hard to make new friends if Iβm wearing them. No matter. No new friends, right?

When I first put these on, I was concerned that they werenβt going to work because they did not feel very tight against my face like Iβd imagined Iβd need for some reason…. BUT… I just diced up two whole onions with nary a single tear when I previously would have been blinded by tears before cutting even half an onion. So they are definitely keeping their place in my kitchen.Side note – if you have a wider head they may be a bit tight as the frames seem a bit on the smaller side. I was ok but figured Iβd mention it.

I didnβt purchase these for cutting onions. I have SEVERE dry eye. I have tried several other goggles before finding these. The others were either uncomfortable or didnβt fit right around my eyes. These are absolutely wonderful! The foam lining around the inside of the eyepiece is smooth and hugs my face gently, fits perfectly. It completely blocks any wind, dust or anything else that has the possibility to irritate my eyes. I wish I had found these sooner. The Price is great and you will not find a better pair of goggles out there. I highly highly recommend these!

I had bought an original pair when the packaging was a case for the glasses and it fit in the drawer perfectly. After 10+ years the case died and 3i put them in the drawer and the foam was mangled in a week’s time. So I purchased them again assuming I’d get the same quality product, the best onion goggles in the world with a case but…no case. Gotta buy that separately OR mangle the foam in the drawer, rendering them useless.Aside from that they are one of my FAVORITE kitchen gadgets, but I am incredibly disappointed that this cost-cutting measure was taken.

Fit is very good. The foam seal keeps out all kinds of irritants. I wear them inside and out. They just fog up a little when it’s really hot.

Great product idea, but Iβm confused as to how many people these fit well. They are one size fits all, and I am a woman with a fairly small head to the point that it takes many try-ons to find a pair of sunglasses that donβt slide off my face. But these are so small that they wonβt even stay against my face for the foam to maintain contact. They squeeze the sides of my head and instantly pop away from my face.
