Easy to use, fun for the kids, and FAST on a ripe pineapple!! Just apply some pressure as you twist the spiral cutter. An extra bonus after you pull out the cored pineapple is all the JUICE left remaining in the intact rind – which you can simply pour into a bowl and save! The only difficulty I had was knowing when the blade reached the bottom of the fruit inside. On my second use, I just kept cutting until it went all the way through the bottom rind, and then cut off the piece of rind from the removed fruit. Easy!

Does what the seller says it will do. Perfect spirals. Handle stays on. Some pineapple might remain in the corner of the area where the metal connects to the core part. It can be a pain to clean but due to the shape, that can’t be helped. Will buy again in the future as I work in a commercial kitchen and sometimes have to core and cut cases of pineapples a day. This device is a Godsend.

Pineapples are really tasty and healthy. I pay about $4. This great little tool cuts my prep time from 10 minute to ONE MINUTE. The chunks are on the thin side and you can really get around that, it’s not adjustable. Right now, I can’t get enough fresh pineapples! Enjoy!
