This timer is great for my classroom. It is accurate in measuring time, and the magnet is strong and fantastic. It stays on the chalkboard without any trouble. The alarm sound is loud enough to be heard, but not obnoxious. although, Sometimes when time is up it makes the sound, and sometimes it doesn’t. The only other thing that bothers me a little is that I wish it was completely silent because you can hear the ticking. When the class is engaged in discussion you cant hear it at all, but when it is quiet you can hear it. Its really not that bad, just a slight inconvenience

You have to turn the dial all the way past 55 then turn it back to the amount of time you want – IF you want it to ring when the time is up. If you don’t, just set it to the time you want, and it won’t ring when the time is up. Weird, but that’s how it works.Huge size too. I didn’t pay attention to the actual size of this and thought it was a small stove top type of unit, but it’s huge – which is fine, as that makes it super easy to see from a distance – along with the red colored background showing how much time is left. Great for kids in time out, so they can easily see how much time is left. And it’s magnetic! Sticks to the fridge extremely well. Also has little pop out legs that work as stands to support it on the countertop as well.If you are looking for a small little stovetop timer – this is not it. If a large, easy to see and read timer is what you need – this is perfect. Suits my needs just fine.

Itβs a great deal for the money, I love the size, I love that it doesnβt require batteries, and I love that you can choose your color. I teach children with autism and have bought a ton of these kind of things. I donβt like the red and most are red. I picked green. The only problem is that sometimes it doesnβt make a sound when the time goes out.

We are very happy with our timer. We were pretty hesitant to initially buy it because of the price, but are glad we have it now. Our toddler can set it by himself and responds pretty well when time’s up (ie: “30 more minutes to play, and then it’s time for bath. Go set your timer…”)We like the size too because it’s clear to read from across the room without being garishly huge.

Would like if the alarm was louder but otherwise very happy

This works perfectly as intended. Students can see the time remaining and can self-monitor (and are even fascinated by how it works). It has a bell but for our use it is not loud enough. The magnet on the back is a bonus as the timer is large enough that with that size of even a thin magnet, it stays on the white board and doesn’t slide around nor can students take it off without an obvious struggle.

We now have 3 of these for various parts of the house to use with my ASD daughters. They are wonderful for transitions as well as getting ready for school in the mornings.

Easy for me to get overwhelmed by work or to lose myself in tasks. Good visual aid. Also great for kids, ten minutes to clean up the playroom? No problem.
