   The gun was pretty easy to use but it took a little trial and error to figure out how to pull back the plunger to refill it each time without unscrewing it each time. The double barrel tools don’t exactly allow you to create consistent sticks of jerky but that’s ok. The flat tool and the long tool worked the best for me and what I am needing. I would say it’s mostly easy to clean but as other reviewers said a lot of meat is left inside the attachments, but don’t worry I don’t waste a thing. I just push it out with chop sticks and put it on my dehydrator. It doesn’t have to be pretty, it’s still edible. I would suggest creating tampers that can be used in the attachments to continue to push the meat out for continuity. Not everyone has chop sticks or long skinny flat items in their kitchens to try to get all of the left over meat. I didn’t mix my deer meat with pork and it was a course ground meat and I didn’t have the issue of meat squeezing out of the cracks but there was a little juice and blood dripping out. I would purchase it again, but maybe the larger size just for convenience and time sake.

   I’m bought this to basically make hamburger jerky and it did a great job and the tool is easy to use but I did not like the hamburger jerky. So hopefully I’ll be able to make a different type of jerky that I do and I’m still looking forward to using it.

   My husband absolutely loved this jerky gun for his birthday. Heavy duty and he was so happy about that.
