I was struggling to teach baby to drink water. She would use straw cup, sippy cup, or even suck purΓ©es from pouch. After using this cup a few times she has mastered it and will drink from anything now and will eat pouch purΓ©es. I do think itβs a little overpriced as itβs only one cup and really only good for training as it leaks and she makes a huge mess with it so we have now switched cups.

My 12-month-old baby had trouble learning to suck from other straw cups but miraculously got it within a day using this bear cup! So that was amazing. Sadly, the bear fell from a table onto the floor and the cap immediately broke so durability is not so good. In addition, the baby would squeeze the bottle and squirt water everywhere so it was not great for long-term use. But it did teach her to suck a straw so mission accomplished! Money well spent just for that.

These were excellent for helping my daughter learn to drink from a straw! Other than that the shape makes them hard to clean and they are definitely not leak proof (although this is by design to help the babies learn to drink through straws). Worth it for the skill but wouldnβt buy multiple.

Newest batch doesnβt seal so when you squeeze it leaks around the top of the straw. It makes it nearly impossible to feed with the bears as they just collapse and no consistent stream of liquid comes out. Lids on the older bears fit the straw super snug and actually seal. Yes they were a pain to insert but it actually worked.Editing to add that they reached out and have sent some more functional ones to us. They were very responsive. Just check them when you get them.

This is truly the best thing for your young toddler to learn from!! My 9 month old figured it out by me gently squeezing the water up. I think it creates suction when you release, causing them to learn to suck. The straw is skinny compared to most cups, making it to where they donβt have to suck as hard to get what they want.Only down side is the cap broke off super easily. But who really needs the cab when a straw is always in it?

My son is almost 2 and teaching him to drink from a straw has been such a struggle. I’ve tried so many cups and tried trickle feeding him from a regular straw i suctioned water with, to no avail. He couldn’t figure out how to get the water up the straw. I got him this cup and squeezed just slightly and when he figured out water comes up the straw he started sucking!!! Now he’s drinking so much water. My mama heart is so happy.

I never write reviews even though I read them for everything I buy. This cup helped my 8 month old learn how to drink through a straw within a few days. I highly recommend!
