I’m shamed that it took me so long to review this item. My old scoop broke one night and left me having to eat my cookie two step straight from the carton like a savage. Okay so it wasn’t that bad.. regardless, I immediately turned to amazon, scouring the pages for a replacement. I came across this scoop and while the reviews were great, It would be nearly a month before I would find out just how good it was because as “lick” would have it ( see what I did there) I ate all the ice cream from the carton that night and wouldn’t buy more again until this week.Typically, my wife and I will microwave our ice cream for about 20 seconds to soften it up enough to easily scoop. I go a step further and soak the scoop in hot water before attempting to use it. Neither are necessary with this scoop. Rock hard ice cream straight from the freezer doesn’t stand a chance as this scoop easily glides through it like a knife through softened butter. The ice cream ‘rolls’ onto itself creating good sized scoops ready for enjoyment. The handle is comfortable and non slip. Cleanup is super easy by simply running some water over the scoop to prep it for the dishwasher. I am considering buying one or two more for “busy” ice cream nights when we have multiple flavors going. I definitely recommend this scoop to anyone looking.

The scoop was a little pricy but I liked its looks and took a chance. The scoop appeared well constructed and it performed as I had hoped that it would. The scoop was just as described in the ad. I have used the scoop for 5 months and the scoop/metal part of the scoop is loose and appears to be ready to fall off. I see no way to tighten the metal scoop to the soft handle. If the scoop continues to loosen and separates from the handle the scoop will be worthless. I like the scoop but at this point I am very disappointed in its durability. Based on the scoop’s service to date, I do not recommend buying this item.I contacted customer support and the scoop was replaced in a very short period of time. Based on this excellent customer service I highly recommend the scoop and the company. It is refreshing to to know that this company values its customers and stands behind their products. Immediate attention was given to the problem and the problem was solved to my complete satisfaction. I recommend this product and company.

This ice cream scooper works so much better than any of the plastic ones I have. Much sturdier and it cuts through harder ice cream and, unlike my plastic ones, it can make perfect balls for cones. Definitely recommend it!

I don’t know how many icecream scoops I have broken over the years… I will try muscling them through cold, hard icecream and they just snap right off. This one has held up so well though. It fells good in the hand and it doesn’t even flex. Great Icecream scoop.

I had a very unique scoop before that while difficult on hard ice cream I loved it. It became harder and harder to use as I got older AND started deteriorating to boot. This one is amazing. Easy to hold and handle despite being heavy it’s heavy where it needs to be so gets through even hard ice cream with ease and rinses clean luckily split.
