   We picked this set of light saber salt and pepper shakers for my daughters father who is a HUGE star wars fan. I wanted to get him some fan stuff but something that he would be able to use all the time and not just another toy that he would look at once and put on a shelf to collect dust. These were perfect! They are pretty large and heavy and look like the handle of a blue and red light saber. They were easy to open my holding the bottom and turning the top to put the batteries in. You will need a total of 8 AA batteries for these bad boys though, which I thought was a tad excessive, but they don’t get used ALL the time consistently so they should be able to last you a while. They are cute and easy to use however the one thing I was not impressed with is the fact that there ARE lights on the grinder end of each of these savers but I do not understand why they did not make it be able to light up the red and blue portions of the grinders. That would have made it SUPER cool so I was pretty disappointed with that, but happy to have something Star Wars novelty that will be used daily for a while to come.

   They are pretty bulky and hold little salt/pepper. Love it for the novelty not so much for the functionality.

   I didn’t check them first before gifting and the blue one doesn’t work. Which is fine for my friend as they are more of a display item for them but if they wanted to actually use it they wouldn’t be able to.

   I got these as a gift for my dad and he really liked them. He did, however, notice that they weren’t doing a great job at grinding.

   These salt and pepper automatic shakers are fantastic. They work so well. They look great on the table and they are fun to use. Easy to fill and requires batteries but the batteries last very long. They are fun and whimsical for any occasions
