It’s okay, the lid doesn’t stay on it pops off while in the middle of proofing dough! Therefore allowing temperature to drop and dough doesn’t rise to full capacity it should’ve been 1 star but it wouldn’t let me change it! Don’t waste your money

I love this bowl. I believe I’ve purchased at least eight of these. I initially bought two for me. Wow-it works beautifully! I then started gifting them to bread baking friends who loved mine. It takes awhile to receive them from overseas and I cannot be without at least four for myself. I’m now awaiting another bowl! The secret is to place the lower portion that contains the gel in the microwave almost 45 seconds. Place your dough in the bucket-use a brief water mist-and seal the top. Make sure you go around the entire top of the bowl and you will hear the pop that the seal is sealed properly. In less than an hour you’ll have the top look like it’s ready to explode-which it won’t, and when you open it you’ll be amazed to see your beautiful dough totally risen and ultra soft because of the water mist and the incubation. GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I had ben looking at proofing boxes, which I could not afford to buy. I saw this and took a chance. I have only had it a little over a week, but have used it 4 times already. I love it!!! I have a small microwave so I put the gel pack in for 1 minute. So far it has been amazing and cut back the rising time greatlt. I have reccomended it to friends!
