I didn’t care for this thing at first but after practicing on some empty cans and figuring out a technique that works for me I really like it. It improves the experience of drinking from a can more than I expected it to, and most of the beers I drink are from small local breweries that use cans because its trendy (and cheap) right now so I use it all the time. The trick is to use fairly light pressure and make multiple turns, and keep turning until you stop hearing the popping noises to get a clean cut all the way around. I like to set the can down on a table for the entire process as its easier to keep the cutter perfectly flat that way and avoid spills. The main downside is that the cut off top drops down into the can. Sometimes it floats on top of the beer and sometimes it drops down, gets covered in bubbles, and floats back up.

I like using this product alot. Good with crowds and conversation starters. I just don’t like when tge drink gets the tool and then it gets sticky if you leave soda, beer, etc on it. I guess you have to rinse after everytime to keep it from getting sticky.

Kid got this for me thought was junk. Started using more to avoid dishes and notice using more over time. Was easy at camping out. Not sharp as thought. Good help environment. So would recommend people

This product does not really work well. All these positive reviewers are overlooking the fact that it takes forever to get the top off, you have to squeeze it really hard and rotate it around the entire can multiple times. The can will crush inwards as soon as pressure releases which causes liquid to spill out and the fact that you have to grip it so tightly to turn it so the rollers can cut through the can makes this almost impossible to avoid. There is no way to know if the lid is completely cut off and often times it is left hanging by a piece and you have to either twist it off and leave a sharp piece of metal there or reattach the unit and spin it a few more times. Once the lid is removed it stays in the can so you have to fish it out with your fingers or have some kind of tool handy to deal with that as well.In the end it will work if you are patient with it, but it is a pain to deal with and you will grow tired of the novelty of turning cans into cups very quickly so save yourself the dollars and just use your thumb to pop the can open the way it was designed to be used. I do wish someone would make a version of this that actually works.

It’s fun to have but you do have to rinse it after you use it bc It does make a little bit of a mess I wouldn’t bring it to school again but it makes you feel cool the top falling into the can can be an issue for the germ freaks and p*ssys out there but I like it

Less than perfect but still great!! I love my Modelo with a salted lime. I hate the foil on bottles but hate the difficulty of getting a lime in a can, this fixes it all. It makes a little mess on the product when opening and sometimes the top of the can is either a little tough to get off or falls into the drink, not a huge deal for me. Needs to be rinsed off at least after every drinking session though. Allows me to add my salted limes without a glass but if it weren’t for my love of Modelo with salted lime I would not have one and can’t really see any other use for it. 9/10 for me only because I could see can top extraction being easier. All in all if you like to garnish your beer, get one. If you just want to look cool, maybe find another way.

I have been using these for about three years now. They have been improving over the years. The first two broke within a few months. My third one seems to much sturdier so we’ll see…
