I absolutely love the itsy bitsy (dicing) grid/blade that comes with this chopper. I have not found another chopper with this small of a blade. For that reason I will continue to purchase the chopping Wizard no matter how many times the clear plastic base breaks. I am on my fourth one in about 10 years so I really donβt think thatβs too bad. In addition it has always been priced under $20 until recently but still affordable. Another downside is Itβs kind of a pain to clean the grid. However, I found an insert cleaning tab (sold separately) recently so now that problem is solved. Again, I love the small grate, perfect if you have toddlers and need to chop/cut their food Smaller. I like that all my veggies (cucumber, onions, bell peppers) are micro size for salads and cooking. I would recommend and recommend the cleaning tab with the same name

This little gadget is a game-changer in the kitchen. You can literally dice an entire onion in less than a few seconds. I’ve used it to chop celery, carrots, onions, garlic, peppers, etc. It cuts your prep time to a quarter of the time. It comes with a handy little “comb” to get any little pieces of vegetables out of the grid. It is sometimes hard to get any little pieces of food out of the cutting grate, but in the grande scheme of things, this is a very minor inconvenience. A+++

Nice product, seems sturdy enough for carrots and other hard veggies, but it does the job nicely. It would be nice if the size of the chop could be larger. I use it mostly for salad veggies and am accustomed to larger pieces of the veggies. Not so sure I’d use it for much otherwise, but it does the job.

I pulled this out for the first time today. I was making a HUGE pot of homemade potato soup- and even worse than peeling a gazillion potatoes- the worst is having to cut them up in small pieces. I hoped but didnβt quite believe this thing would take on hard potatoes. But it did and did it well!! It took only minutes to do what it would have taken an hour to do otherwise. Spectacular value. Highly recommend!

After 20 Years of almost daily use, I dropped the clear part of my onion chopper on the patio. I glued it, but it was hard to clean. I decided I might live another 20 years, so I bought a new one.

My first chopper purchase. Bought it based on the reviews. Works great. Takes a little timeto clean but the tool that comes with the chopper works well. Would love the plastic container to be bigger as I like to meal prep. Otherwise a good product.

I’ve been using the Vidalia Onion Chopper for years. It hasn’t lost any of it’s sturdiness over the years. That’s very important to me.

great little chopper, you can chop onions and not worry about crying about it anymore. Makes doing that subchief task for my wife a lot easier and I can see clearly when I’m done.
