I just got my peeler this morning. Inserting the batteries so I wouldn’t have to find a plug in ( my tiny kitchen lacks plug ins). I immediately tried a potato and it peeled perfectly, the peel came off in one very tiny peel. I can’t wait to try other vegetables. This peeler will save me time plus save my fingers from knicking my fingers from using a knife. I gave it four stars because the directions to me are not clear when it comes to changing the blade. Also it does not tell you to put a towel or something in front to catch the peels, unless you want them falling on counter. I sat peeler on my cutting board so i just had to dump peels into garbage. This is my first try so i hope it last and the blade will last for a while. I am so far very satisfied and recommend this peeler to anyone who hates peeling potatoes by hand.

Likes….Set up easy to use ! Lightweight Slide bar very easy to adjust up and down.Dislikes….1. It is super sharp in cutting the potatoes,to remove the skin (haven’t tried any other vegetable yet) BUT,once you remove the skin, then the 2nd time around, it wants to get a little slippery and seems to cut DEEPER grooves and the potatoes starts breaking off, instead of coming out very long and Spiral.I don’t use my just for the peeling, BUT, I go back and keep resetting it to cut the entire potato.!! …. I go back and finish making more spirals. BUT,, ,it leaves DEEP GROOVES and you waste alot of potato….IF..you don’t finish cutting it up by HAND..3. It does pretty good mainly for MEDIUM sized potatoes. Because the Tall Baking potatoes need their ENDS cut off flat, just so that it fits under the spike that sticks into the potato.4. Just REMEMBER to Not use the Large Baked potatoes, because you WILL have to slice the ENDS OFF,for the potato to stand up straight and so that the SHARP plastic POINT can dig into balance it and keep it straight and firm.Be sure and PRESS down Gard on the Teeth part..Other than that , I really like it..lol.

My mother loves potatoes but her arthritis makes it hard for her to peel any vegetables. This product is easy for her to use and doesn’t require a lot of counter space either.

IU never knew these existed! I eat potatoes every single day, and I love this device! It’s simple, easy, effective, fast, and saves me a lot of time and effort. The device has a simple 2-step procedure; put the potato on the base,and secure it on top. Push the button, done. Oh how I wish I knew about these amazing inventions years ago! The thin strip of skin comes off in a continuous roll, so when it’s time to clean up the peels, they come right up in one big bunch. It just takes the skin! It’s amazing, I love to use it, I enjoy watching it work, and it’s easy to clean, the bottom spikes that hold the potato pops off, rinse under sink spray, good to go. I love it. When/if it ever dies, I’ll get a new one that very day. It comes with 6 replacement blades! The first blade lasted for months, super easy to replace. This is the best kitchen device I’ve ever purchased!

Wow, I was skeptical but this thing works great. Super fast peeling almost anything. Adjustable and easy to use. You really need a lot of peeling to warrant getting this thing out because you will just get it set out and, bam, you’re done. Sturdiness I don’t know, it looks a little on the flimsy side but it has worked flawlessly. For the price I’m very happy with it. I had a lot of patotes to can and this got them all peeled in a heartbeat.
