This spinner worked fast for my salad items. It’s a good size & the outer bowl is actually pretty to serve salad in if you wanted to. The top handle locks in place with pushing a small tab forward so it’s really nice to store. I have arthritis in my hands so having an upright handle to use to spin was a big plus for me. If you’re used to Oxo, etc. salad spinners this will seem a little different because a noise is made whenever you lock or release the spinning handle. The stop button is the same though. The listing says the top comes apart to wash but I couldn’t manage to do that so I wrote to the seller to ask how to do it because I didn’t want to keep tugging & have the inner piece break. They answered me the same day & said that they changed the style to one that cannot be disassembled now. Personally, that doesn’t matter because it’s very easy to run soapy water inside the lid. What I do to dry/drain (since you can’t dry it yourself) is I release the spinning handle & then just sit it on its side in my dish rack. I have absolutely no problems with that. I didn’t test cleaning it in the dishwasher because I’m not an ‘everything must go in the dishwasher’ person. I tend to hand wash things like this as well as very good cookware, etc. I’m happy with its function & its ability to spin veggies nicely dry. I’m also enjoying the flat top when I store it.

You got a love the description of the salad spinner. But it is not a bad appliance. It’s relatively small compared to the ones I’ve seen. But it’s still has decent capacity because it’s a little bit taller as well. You put the colander bowl inside of a acrylic bowl and the lid has a pumping action that spins the centrifuge. I like doing that rather than having to turn a hand crank. And that thing spins and spins and it will keep going long after you stop using the lever. There is a stop button that obviously stops the colander from turning and there’s a lock button that makes the lever flush with the lid for easier storage. My only concern is the gearing mechanism is more complicated and may be more prone to breakage. The build quality is just so so but the thing works well for now. I hope it holds up.As far as it being “maybe the best“, it’s certainly the best one I have had so far.

The capacity is spot on for a Caesar salad for my family of 4.It is easy to load, lock, and unload. The water is contained so that it does not get splatted all over the place.Cleaning can be challenging as things can get stuck sometimes and if you leave it there for too long it will rot.

The media could not be loaded. I really like this salad spinner. It is fast, effective, and easy to use. My only concern is the catch that keeps the handle down and keeps its profile low and flat.THINGS I LIKED:* Dishwasher safe (I put it on the top rack, but I won’t do this frequently. I know that dishwashers can make the bowl’s type of plastic brittle over time.)* It spins FAST but doesn’t damage the leaves (but be prepared to hold it down at high speeds.)* It is SO easy to use.* You can pick it up and shake it – or even DRAIN it! – while it is spinning! (Just hold on to the lid, just in case.)THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE:* The red button stops it all right, instantly, and considering how fast this spinner can get, I can see that breaking something at some point – it’s only plastic – but right now, it is just a concern, not proven. (Hoping to avoid this, I am just lifting the lid while it’s spinning, but if it’s too full stray leaves can get flung out :)* Another unproven concern – a serious one – is the lock that holds the handle down for storage. The lock consists of a slide that fits into a hole in the underside of the handle and the tension is so great that the handle doesn’t even lay flat when it is latched (see picture). That has to be stressing the hinge back by the spring, but, honestly, I fear the hole in the handle is likely to break first and once it does, there will be no way to keep the handle down. Considering the tension, the handle should have locked from both sides.ORIGIN: Imported to Barcelona, Espangne, but made in China

I used to have one of these a long time ago, was almost like a lawnmower with a pull handle. It lasted a few years, but I haven’t seen them around lately until I almost forgot they existed. While browsing amazon, it just popped up and my eyes lit up, couldn’t hit the buy button fast enough. I love salads and every night its my side dish, forget the carbs.. right. But I hate soggy and wet salads, blah… most restaurants will sell you a wet salad, its disgusting. So as much as my anticipation, it arrived and oh boy I was ready to start spinning again. Its a large bowl, with an internal colander that spins when you put the top. The spin mechanism is a single lever that you push down. Few times is all you need, maybe little more because its fun, but the final result is a salad, dry, crisp and clean. Just do it!

TIKMIEN salad spinner, maybe the bestFirst impressions: It’s a nice thick plastic and the mechanism seems strong.Installation/setup: Take out of the box, remove the plastics. Install the top. Pull the handle to activate the spinning function. Wash produce, spin to remove excess water.Final thoughts: My son-in-law has wanted one of these for several years. I plan to give this one to him as a joke Christmas present. We will use it, of course. They are very useful.⭐️1 star – I don’t recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars – I don’t recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars – It’s passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars – Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars – Product that I totally recommend.
