The concept is novel. These are a bit noisy while in use but other than that they work well. Guests tend to get confused as to how they work and start shaking them LOL I had to throw out the first one after a while and replace it. The battery lid kept popping off throwing batteries all over the table. Rather embarrassing for guests. Another issue is putting in the batteries you have to turn it upside down. Turning the unit upside down causes the unit to start grinding as soon as you close the compartment lid. This throws salt where you do not want it as well as the adjustment knob on the top is likely to catch and pinch your hand. It needs an off switch for changing batteries! I would probably go with another set down the road. I only replaced the salt because the pepper was still working. Last but not least, it came with a huge label wrapped around the case that was a pain to get off.

This works well, but 3 things I do not like.1.) The fill spout is very small and difficult to fill.2.) There is no power off switch for filling and cleaning. To completely shut off you need to take out batteries.3.) The idiots that made this put a huge sticker on it which is very difficult to peel off.

I love the product, but they place a huge sticker on it that when removed it takes off the silver, and leaves the product sticky. If the sticker wasn’t on the item it would be a total 5 star review, so I am returning.

This salt/pepper mill system is by far the best kind I have purchased and over the years I have purchased at least 6 sets for myself, as gift to friends and replacing the ones that kept breaking. Quality will remain to be seen but I really like the sleek design, smooth no hand operation, just tilt so there is no fumbling and looking for a bottom on top or on the side. Iβm not sure what other reviews about the problem some were having with the sticker but mine peeled off nice and easy.

Purchased this in March 2021. It’s a great idea, especially if you have hand issues. The problem with this one; it was hit or miss whether it would actually work when you tip it upside down. On several occasions, I would have to remove and replace the battery door because it didn’t stay properly attached. It has now died because the tab used to lock the door in place has broken off.I also agree with some other reviews stating the slow/minimal distribution of ground pepper. I never even reloaded the grinder, having used only about half of the original fill.

The media could not be loaded. Β Modern – new design, which is well suited to the design of a modern kitchen. Simplicity – just take care, just fill up the contents, adjust the degree of salting, and of course, just grind (tilt and enjoy) . It is convenient – when you cook, your hands are often busy or may be a little dirty (when cutting meat, salad, etc.) and you need not to dirty the pepper shaker and pour it with two fingers. It’s really convenient and practical. Also, the backlight visually localizes the place where the spice is poured. Disadvantages: high enough, for aesthetic appearance requires filling more than 50% – this is enough for a very long time (dignity) . But spices should be updated frequently and not stored for a long time. The backlight is weak and almost invisible. I can’t say about the duration of battery use, because I just started using it.Also, according to the sensations, the high quality of China is not felt – they can be better! In general, I recommend it! π

I thought having battery powered grinders seemed a little silly, but I love these! It was always a hassle to pry the lids off of the grinder jars, plus if you have sticky hands from cooking/mixing, Iβd have to stop & wash my hands the use the manual grinder. Not anymore! Love these!

These are great. Love the feature were you can adjust the size of the grain of the pepper corn.
