I have developed some weakness in my hands recently. This apparatus made it so easy for me to use the strongest of my two hands to open jars that I have thought I would have to throw away because I could not open the unassisted.

I’m losing my grip! With arthritis and age,m my hands cannot hold and grip as they used to. I knew the type of product I needed because I know it works. The glued-in grips on the other type of openers does come undone. Just place this opener, handle side up, on top of the jar/bottle lid, twist the handle to adjust to the lid size, when it has tightened turn it and, Voila! It’s opened! I put larger jars on a towel on the countertop to help keep stationary. Now, this opener does not fit extra large or extra small tops, but it does fit most. I do highly recommend this product.

First two uses were good on the third use plastic broke on flange and would not grab the jar top returned just in time to get money back save your money !

Very helpful for people with weak hands

The product did open jars easily. Then about the fifth jar I tried to open a plastic part on the gripping part broke. It’s beyond the return date so now I have to find something else.

I thought this would be a good solution for my father and myself since we both have arthritis in our hands. At first it worked as advertised, but after 3 or 4 uses the grippers jumped their tracks and one froze in place. The internal mechanics crapped out and I don’t think they can be repaired. Not that I should have to repair something which I used for what it was advertised to do, and it breaks almost immediately. I’m very disappointed and cannot recommend this product (it’s not currently available anyway).

Poor quality. In the garbage…didn’t even want to mess with sending back!

No good for a hard to open jar
