This item doesn’t leak when we use it but there is some oozing coming from somewhere as the top and bottle have some dressing. Took us a while (three of us) to figure out how to open to pour. I like the glass bottle as opposed as the plastic we had. I emulsify my dressing before I put it into the cruet so the spinner just stirs it a bit.
B. Boyard –
I bought to make my own dressing with and taking it apart and cleaning it is a nightmare/work out in of itself. You would be in a better position to either use a blender bottle to mix dressings or get a drink attachment for your high speed blender. I had to get rid of this after a few tries.

Mixes dressing ingredients well. I found the center whip blade to be a bit odd as it is assembled. Disassembly to clean is hard as you must press in two small buttons just so.

I’ve been looking for a salad mixer for a long time and this one is just perfect. Takes a little getting used to cleaning it, but once you master the “two button squeeze”, it works like a charm. Really nicely designed, but it’s glass, so be careful when sitting it on your counter; I thought it was going to be plastic.

We like to make our own salad dressing – especially a good Italian Dressing, which means you have to mix. The bottle is glass, the volume markings are accurate and the spinner mixes well and easy. We looked long and hard and we made the right choice.
