This thing is a permanent part of my sink as I drop a colander in it to drain pasta or vegetables. It’s a bit difficult to clean and you can’t put it in the dishwasher, but I use it regularly and it doesn’t rust like others I’ve had

Great for ramen. Good for rice, but Minute Rice tends to get stuck in it. I think itβs best for foods larger than Minute Rice. Itβs probably too small for a decent salad, but I donβt eat salads, so thatβs not a major problem for me. I would think that adding sauces to the contents would prove a challenge in cleaning, especially thicker sauces.
