I’m not sure if I believe the claim about the liquid core helping to warm the scooper, but it is very ergodynamic and does cut through ice cream as long as it’s not too hard. I’ve tried warming the handle by holding it in my hand before using it, but that didn’t seem to help. Still a great tool that scoops nice balls of ice cream.

Scoop works well. Easy to use and clean. But I still prefer the big paddle type scoop because I have big hands.

Great ice cream scoop. Good size like those found in ice cream shop. Heat with hot water for 10 seconds to get fluid inside to heat scoop head. Body/hand heat is not enough to heat fluid/scoop head. Works well.DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER, HAND WASH.

I ordered this based on multiple review sites, touting this as the best ice cream scoop around. I finally decided to get one, and I am happy I did. It really does scoop cold ice cream easily. It must be hand washed, but it is so smooth that clean up is easy.

This ice cream scoop is great! It is very sturdy and will never break when used for the intended purpose. The liquid filled handle provides enough warmth to scoop a few bowls of ice cream before it too gets cold. The handle is long enough to allow scooping of very hard ice cream. This is the one I wanted.
