The set up was easy and grating the cheese block went smoothly but removing the handle was a bit difficult. I had to lay the grater on its βfaceβ to pull the handle off.

I shred cheese for one made Mac and have been tired of using the regular old cheese grater, THIS was worth every single dollar i can shred 1 whole block of cheese in less than 2 minutes now thank God and my arm didnβt hurt afterwards.

In the instructions for the Zulay manual rotary grater & slicer it says that the blades are VERY sharp. THEY ARE NOT! Makes it very difficult to shred something hard like potatoes (I canβt imagine how difficult carrots will be!). However, so far the grater has done an adequate job at grating potatoes, just be prepared for a fight. Several times I had to stop turning the grater one way, turn it momentarily the opposite direction, to get another stab at it. Plastic hasnβt broken, or indicated it might, and the blade itself has not bent from pressing the potato into the blade. A box shredder is by far sharper, albeit more prone to grating flesh. I like this product, but I canβt see using this very regularly because of the dull blades. I will look for a way to sharpen the blades, but I hate to do that with a product that really should be sharper.

While I LOVE this and will still continue to use it. I had bought it hoping the kids would be able to βcookβ when they ask but it doesnβt suction well so it sadly is more of a hassle to let them help. Other than not suctioning as expected everything else works great!! Weβve used this to shred many vegetables in addition to cheese never disappointed!!
