I love the yellow-and-green design; not only is it cheerful and fitting for its purpose, the design helps the new or occasional user know how to use the device correctly. To make lemonade, place the (yellow) lemon half into the yellow section; to make limeade, place the (green) lime half into the green section. When you see those bowl-shaped sections, it may seem counterintuitive but you actually place the fruit in face-down so the squeezed juice can flow easily through the holes. Ideally, pressing would cause the rind to take the shape of the bowl, completely inverting it and making the entire surface squeezable, but that doesn’t quite happen. I use the Zulay squeezer first because it does cut down on the workload and changes it from totally requiring the use of the small finger and thumb joints.I gave it 4 stars because used alone, it is not very efficient. But I will continue to use it along with the manual stainless steel juicer I have used for decades. This one looks like mine: https://smile.amazon.com/Stainless-Citrus-Orange-Squeezer-Kitchen/dp/B092VJ6V5J/ref=sr_1_24?crid=1RLICVSPV9F21&keywords=stainless+steel+manual+juicer&qid=1666046642&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjYwIiwicXNhIjoiMy45OCIsInFzcCI6IjQuNDgifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=stainless+steel+manual+%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-24 My old juicer has the added benefit of allowing the capture of as much pulp as possible.NOTE: Pulp is precious. It is largely fiber, something sorely lacking in the Western diet. It also visually says “homemade” about your fresh-squeezed drinks.I also have a favorite knife for this purpose. I have the yellow one, naturally. It makes it easy to spot, a good thing. The rounded tip makes it ideal for removing citrus seeds and pushing the pulp down the channels of the stainless steel juicer without ever touching the knife’s blade. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0052C21HG/ref=dp_iou_view_item?ie=UTF8&th=1Here's my process for making excellent ice-cold lemon or lime ades or waters:1. Pre-Preparation Refrigerate the lemons or limes; they keep much better; like all of the other elements, they help produce an ice-cold drink without the need for ice. Refrigerate your clean pitcher or other serving vessel. Refrigerate the water for your drink. I always keep a silicone spatula in my traditional large glass pitcher to stir before pouring; that gets refrigerated, too. Except for the fruit, they all stay in the back of the refrigerator, where it is coldest.2. Prepare you workspace and tools.β’ I fold a paper towel to catch any juice as I slice the the fruit. I also put any seeds there.β’ I use a non-slip surface under the stainless steel juicer. It eliminates any need for holding the device in place.β’ I leave the pitcher and water in the refrigerator until needed. To squeeze lemons or limes:β’ Roll each fruit on a solid surface, such as the kitchen counter. Rolling them allows them to give up their juice more readily. Be tough on them, pressing down, and in from each end, remembering that there won’t be any significant juice in the knobby end of lemons.β’ Lay each fruit on the paper towel with the ends of the fruit on the left and the right, not touching the towel. Ignoring any knob on a lemon, determine the center of the fruit and cut in two equal halves.β’ Remove any visible seeds, and any slightly visible just under the cut surface, using the knife or a fingernail. Place the seeds around edges of the towel for easy cleanup.β’ Place half of the fruit in the appropriate bowl-shaped container of the Zulay squeezer. Holding it over the stainless steel juicer, squeeze until no more juice comes out. I find that it is worth opening the device, rotating the fruit rind slightly and squeezing it again a time or two.β’ After removing the rind, I place it atop the stainless steel juicer and lay the Zulay squeezer upside down to avoid loosing any juice. Examine the bottom of the rind for any seeds; remove them to the towel. Reshape the rind over the juicer and squeeze out any remaining juice and as much pulp as possible. Examine the pulp and remove any seeds before adding the pulp to the juice container.β’ Get the pitcher and water out and add the juice, water, and sweeten to taste if you are making lemonade or limeade. Stir and serve or return to the refrigerator.

First, I love the ease of using, cleaning and storing this beautiful kitchen must-have! I donβt have to search for it in a drawer full of kitchen tools, because the bright colors are fun and eye catching. Itβs durable metal means a lifetime of use and a tool that I wonβt need to replace. I use lemon in most of my recipes and always in my water. This is not only my favorite and most frequently used tool, but also my main squeeze! ?

I had a lime squeezer already and I thought it would work well for both limes and lemons until I tried a lemon and realized it was nowhere near big enough. This product is super simple, well made, and works great for limes and lemons, especially large lemons. This has managed to squeeze all of the juice out of my limes with ease and the majority of the juice out of lemons with little to no effort. The product feels heavy duty and I have no worries about it breaking anytime soon, plus it couldn’t be easier to clean. I always just end up tossing it in the dishwasher but it’s just as easy to hand wash and dry off. If you are needing to squeeze both limes and lemons have no fear this product is well made and will last you a long time.

Iβve been wanting a handheld juicer for a while and was intrigued by the combo of this product for both lemons and limes. Once I received the product, I particularly enjoyed reading the small insert about the company. It was a special story and made me feel good that I was supporting a small business, a family. So now, every time I use the juicer (which I LOVE), Iβm reminded that I hope others will consider supporting a hard-working family. A great product, a small business, and a product delivered quickly by Amazon. A win-win-win!

This is made with quality. It makes squeezing lemons ? and limes a lot easier. If you like to make your own lemon juice then this is a must have.

I used limes on this and it got all the juice out of them. A lemon is a little trickier. A lemon is way to big and the skin is thick, depends on what type of lemon you use. You really need to use all your muscle or both hands for a lemon. It does get some of the juice of the lemon out but not all.

I am a senior citizen and twisting my wrist to get juice from a regular juicer hurts. The hand Juicer Lemon Squeezer is the easiest juicer I have ever used and it gets all of the juice. I love the sturdiness and ease of cleaning. This is the best. Thank you!

Absolutely love!!! For years I would use my hand to squeeze juice from lemon and limes into my water bottle. Tried to do daily but since it was a hassle I would not bother sometimes. But now, I use my durable tool and its quick and gets the job done. Highly recommend!!!
